Kosovo’s independence is eight years old today. But this year, the
celebrations will be different due to a political crisis. The Kosovo
opposition announced a protest at 14:00, in which they oppose the
agreement with Serbia and Montenegro, and also demands the Mustafa-Thaci
government to resign.

Top-Channel’s reporter to Prishtina, Thimi Samarxhiu, says that national flags and police officers have covered the entire city.  There have been some verifications during the night in the entrance.

The opposition parties in Kosovo have made preparations for the protest, which will start at 14:00.

The podium was set this Tuesday, a few meters from the Government’s Office.

Buses from all Kosovo will take protesters in front of the National Library and then will march to the Zahir Pajaziti Square, the Mother Theresa Square and the Skenderbeu Square, in front of the government’s office.
