Kosovo will allow Serbs to vote for Serbian central elections

The government of Kosovo has agreed to allow Kosovo Serbs to vote for the Serbian Parliamentary elections on April 24th.

Bajram Gecaj, adviser for Prime Minister Isa Mustafa, confirmed for Top Channel that Serbia will not open polling stations in Kosovo, but the Kosovo Serbs will vote through OSCE gathering centers same as in 2014.

“Ethnic Serbs of Kosovo also have Serbian citizenship, so we should make it possible for them to vote. But it will not be the classic voting station. It will be done in gatherhing centers organized by the OSCE”, Gecaj said.

The new discussions for the details were confirmed for Top Channel by the OSCE Spokesperson in Kosovo Senad Sabovich.
