Kosovo, supervisory indepdendence ending

The decision for ending the supervised independence for Kosovo is expected to be taken on July 2nd of this year.

Prime Minister Thaci declared that on July 2nd, in Vienna, the International Leading Group will gather for discussing the matter. The group is composed of states that have recognized Kosovo’s independence and supported the Ahtisari plan.

“This shows that our state has successfully crossed the state forming transition. Our success was valued by the international community. Ahtisari’s plan has been implemented completely and all institutions have adapted to the criteria, while now we are at the last phase for planning the legislation that will be approved, especially the law for construction and for public enterprises”, Thaci declared.

PM Thaci spoke about the significance of establishing an administrative office in noth, although the specific location is still unknown and even for how long it will start functioning.

“We will work for concrete projects, as regards the possibility to hear and respond to the problems of the Serbs that live in Northern Kosovo, as a Constitutional obligation and a great responsibility of Kosovo. This will happen in a near future”, Thaci added.

According to the Prime Minister, it is important to have a dialogue for reaching consensus about the border integral management.

The government cabinet approved the draft-law for health. According to the Minister of Finances, Bedri Hamza, the financial cost of the law for the first year goes to 4.2 million EUR, a phase that has IMF support.

Proposed by the Foreign Minister, Enver Hoxhaj, the government cabinet approved the decision for giving 20.000 EUR in sign of solidarity to Italy, after the earthquake disaster.
