Kosovo-Serbia relations are getting better, Merkel says after meeting Serbian PM Vucic

Relation between Kosovo and Serbia are getting better. At least that’s what German Chancellor Angela Merkel thinks, after meeting with Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic in Berlin.

“We neet to fight for stability and Vucic has always supported the idea that the region should develop away from troubles, something not easy. Reforms are important and bold and I must emphasise relations with Kosovo are better now”, Merkel said

On the other hand, Vucic told the Chancellor the situation is confusing on many countries of the Balkan region. “Still peace can be maintained with the help of the European Union and Germany”, he added, nonetheless considering talks with Kosovo and Bosnia-Hercegovina difficult.
