The Serbian List is the only party supported by Belgrade, and which is ordered to oppose the creation of the Kosovo army.
“They want to give our children Kosovo army uniforms and take them to the north. We are never going to allow this. The army was not formed because we opposed it for three years”, said Branimir Stojanovic, candidate for MP.
The Serbian Liberal Party, the first one being part of the Kosovo institutions, is not conducting a campaign. Its leader, Slobodan Petrovic, said their supporters would be fired from public administration if they participate in party meetings.
“The only real policy and philosophy is to fight for our people and for their survival. We are not part of their illusions, we are not against anyone. All we want is to control our life and take responsibility for a better life for everyone. Our partners are all the people who have such policy”, said Slobodan Petrovic from the Serbian Liberal Party, Kosovo.
Kosovo Serbs who have moved from Kosovo can also vote from Serbia.
