Parliament Speaker Veseli was the only Kosovo politician who commented yesterday’s comments after six Turkish citizens were arrested and possibly deported to Turkey.
He said that this was a big mistake for the citizens and republic of Kosov.
“Our institutions didn’t operate well. This must never happen again. This damaged our citizens and our state”, Veseli declared.
The Speaker of Kosovo added that they are taking all measures to go to the end of this matter.
“We need our citizens’ trust today more than ever”, he said.
When asked why President Thaci left the meeting earlier, Veseli didn’t answer, same as Prime Minister Haradinaj.
Present in the meeting were the President, the Parliament Speaker, Deputy Prime Ministers Pacolli and Hoxhaj, and the Mitrovica Mayor, Agim Bahtiri.
