The President of Kosovo, Hashim Thaci, reacted with critic tones against
the anti-Albanian rhetoric of the President of Macedonia, Gjorgje
Ivanov.
“The political developments in Macedonia are very concerning. President Ivanov abused with the Constitution and with laws with his anti-Albanian approach, while Albanians are one third of the population in this country”, Thaci said.
On social networks, Thaci said that Ivanov buried democracy by not recognizing the will of its citizens, buried the Constitution, the laws and the Ochrid agreement.
“Albanians in Macedonia are a state-forming people, and Macedonia should be a country of all its citizens. The functionality of the state of Macedonia loses its entire meaning if Albanains don’t have equal rights. Albanians must take their fate on their own hands”, Thaci said.
