After one year of constant protests and blockades by the opposition, the
Prime Minister of Kosovo, Isa Mustafa, is convinced that the government
he leads will create more political stability in the second year of
their term, and realize the promises given before the elections.
In an interview for Top Channel, Mustafa valued that despite the constant challenges, the government has been able to realize the fiscal reform and employ more than 15.000 citizens. After these reforms, according to him, the economic growth in 2016 will be more than 4%.
The Kosovo Prime Minister said the verdict of the Constitutional Court for the Association of Serbian Communes has started a certain path for drafting the statute of this community, after the talks and agreements in Brussels.
Mustafa invited the opposition to respect the Constitutional Court verdict and stop the violence within and outside institutions. He invited the once again to not demand early elections, but contribute in public institutions.
As for the relations between the government coalition and the chances of possible government changes, Mustafa said the agreement is being implemented normally and the PDK leader, Hashim Thaci, will be appointed President of Kosovo in the first months of the year.
