The Deputy Prime Minister of Kosovo, Fatmir Livaj, said that the demarcation with Montenegro has turned into a stalemate for the country’s progress, especially as regards the lifting of the visa regime.
Limaj said that they will work to resolve this matter in January, by sending a new draft in Parliament that will be accepted by everyone.
USA and EU insist on the Demarkation agreement, stating several times that it is an essential condition for the visa liberalization. Opponents of this move claim that it takes 8200 hectares away from Kosovo.
