The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Hashim Thaci and Musa Xhaferi, Deputy
Prime Minister of Macedonia, shared the same opinion for the need of
strengthening the relations between the two countries.
During a meeting that was held today in Prishtina, Thaci declared that his country is ready to establish good relations with all neighbors.
“This is in function of a deep regional cooperation, which is one of the main preconditions for the EU integration and NATO”, Thaci declared.
The two officials unanimously declared that the cooperation is necessary also for the economic development of both countries.
After the embargo that Kosovo placed upon Serbian goods, Macedonia is interested to export their goods in the new state.
But this could change with the agreement of Customs stamps, achieved in the dialogue round of September 2nd between Kosovo and Serbia.
