Kosovo: LDK insists for Prime Minister’s post

The Democratic League of Kosovo is determined to keep one condition
unchanged for the coalition with PDK, and that is that their leader, Isa
Mustafa, should be Prime Minister, an option that has not been opposed
so far by the PDK.

The PDK leader, Hashim Thaci, declared that the cooperation with Mustafa is going well. He promised that the agreement would be finalized soon. Thaci said that this Sunday he attended a meeting with Mustafa.

Although the final agreement for dividing the posts is not ready yet, Isa Mustafa’s party has reiterated the condition for the Prime Minister’s post.

Based on the current unofficial agreements, PDK and LDK will have eight ministries each, while three others will be offered to minorities.

While the biggest partners are dealing for dividing the main posts, the minorities have presented their requests.

Top Channel has learned that the Serbian List demanded that Serbs should have the Deputy Chief of the Kosovo Intelligence Agency and the Vice Commander of the Kosovo Armed Forces. They are offering these requests in exchange for the votes in Parliament.
