The government of Kosovo declared they are on the same line with the
president as regards the transformation of the Kosovo Armed Forces into
the Kosovo Army.
Despite the concerns raised by the NATO Secretary, Jens Stoltenberg; the US Ambassador and the UK Ambassador, the Prime Minister said that the creation of the Kosovo Army cannot be withheld by Serbia.
“It is on the interest of all Kosovo citizens. The government is committed to have its army, within what is allowed by the Constitution, and by coordinating our work with our strategic partners, the USA and NATO”, the communication says.
