Kosovo Foreign Minister: “We cannot avoid demarkation. No unified market”

The Foreign Minister of Kosovo, Enver Hoxhaj, reported this Monday at
the Parliamentary Commission for Association Stabilization. After the
meeting, he said that Kosovo cannot avoid ratification of the border
Demarkation with Montenegro.
The Kosovo Foreign Minister said that the ratification of this agreement will always be a condition for Europe to lift the visa regime with the Schengen countries.
Hoxhaj said that Kosovo is against the idea of a joint Balkan market, since Kosovo’s border checkpoints should be in Kacanik and Jarinje, not in Serbia’s Subotica or anywhere else.
As for the Demarkation, the independent MP Ilir Deda said that the national elections must be held after the political parties reach an agreement for the political stalemates, from the Association of Serbian Communes to the Demarkation with Montenegro.
