Kosovo media report that five Turkish citizen, leaders of Turkish schools, have been identified by Ankara as supporters of Fetullah Gulen, the opponent of Recept Tayyip Erdogan.
The arrests took place this Thursday in Prishtina and Gjakova. Sources explain that the persons who were arrested belong to the education network “Gulistan Educational Institutions”.
The police intervened after some investigations made to these institutions. The General Director, Mustafa Erdem, was arrested while walking to his work. His vice, Jusuf Karabina and professors Cihen Ozkan and Hasan Gunakan were taken under custody from the school premises.
