The official ceremonies that started three days ago, culminated today with homage on the graves of the Kosovo Liberation Army’s legendary commander, Adem Jashari, and historic President Ibrahim Rugova.

However, the three-day agenda doesn’t have the parade of the Kosovo Security Forces.

A solemn Parliamentary session was held today, with Albania’s Prime Minister as guest. In his speech, Thaci said that Kosovo has been recognized by 113 countries so far.

The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Isa Mustafa, posted a video message on his Facebook page, with a congratulatory message for the ninth anniversary.

As every year, the “NEWBORN” obelisk of independence in Prishtina will gather many people who will see the newest modification, titled “a world without walls”.
