The President of Kosovo, Hashim Thaci, had a phone conversation with his Serbian counterpart, Alexandar Vucic, focusing on matters of joint interest, including the killing of Oliver Ivanovic, leader of a Serbian party in Kosovo.
Thaci guaranteed the Serbian President that Kosovo’s Prosecution and Police are conducting intensive investigations to shed light on the crime and bring those responsible to justice.
He made it clear that the competent institutions of Kosovo are ready to cooperate and accept any kind of assistance that could help with the investigation.
Both presidents agreed with the idea that competent authorities need their time to do their job professionally and independently.
