Kosovo and Serbia presidents meet in Brussels

The EU High Representative for Foreign Policy, Federica Mogherini, is
intermediating a meeting between the President of Kosovo, Hashim Thaci,
and the President of Serbia, Alexandar Vucic.
The Spokesperson for the EU, Maja Kocijancic, published on her Twitter profile pictures of the Kosovo and Serbian Presidents with Mogherini.
She said that the Presidents will exchange their views on continuing the talks for normalizing the relations.
Thaci and Vucic met on July 3rd, and after that meeting they said they agreed to push the talks into a new period, discussing matters more important than technical aspects.
The Kosovo President said that the new period would bring reconciliation between both countries and would close the dark chapter of the past, to build a new European future.
Facing critics at home, Thaci stated that he would personally engage to create an all-inclusive team that will be involved in the talks with Serbia.
His Serbian counterpart also said that more serious and more courageous talks are needed within the Serbian and Albanian opinions.
