Kosovo and Albania have excellent economic relations.
This declaration was given during a meeting of the Kosovo Economic Development Minister, Besim Beqaj, with the Albanian ambassador in
Prishtina, Islam Lauka.
The meeting was held after some Kosovo businesses complained that Albania is giving more priority to Serbian businesses than Kosovo ones, removing all Custom barriers for Serbian products.
Ambassador Lauka declared that Albania is not discriminating Kosovo, but in this regard, the Minister Beqaj said that both countries are totally open to each other.
Kosovo Economic Development Minister declared that “Kosovo and Albania have a much more liberalized relation compared to other countries, in terms of economic cooperation, free movement and exchange of goods”.
Both of them discussed on future cooperation reforms between the two countries.
