The demolitions at the “Gjon Buzuku” road in Korce has ended, while the
4-store building, owned by Petrit Xhelollari, was the last one planned
to be brought down.
The decision for demolishing 14 buildings was taken for reconstructing the existent road. Xhelollari, who was brought to justice after threatening Mayor Filo, this time did not make resistance.
On the first day he requested more time to remove the furniture. ON the second day, when the building was empty, Xhelollari refused to allow the intervention. He requested the documentation for this decision, and he didn’t let the Inspectorate operate even after the documents were shown to him.
He also launched accusations, by saying that he hasn’t been compensated yet. 14 buildings were demolished on the “Gjon Buzuku” road because of the project.
