Korca Prosecutor discharged, didn’t pass vetting process

The Prosecutor of Korca, Elsion Sadiku, was removed from his duty for not passing the Vetting Process. Sadiku was also a candidate for the High Council of the Judiciary.

The Independent Commission of Qualification, with members Brunilda Bekteshi, Olsi Komici and Lulzim Hamitaj, decided to discharge Prosecutor Saliu.

The Commission mentioned a public denunciation made against the Prosecutor for the investigation of two University Professors in Korca, the dean and his wife, for falsifying a diploma.
