Korca public park art works may have been destroyed last year by
radicalized youngsters who tried to imitate ISIS, according to the
Prosecution, who arrested 28-year-old Petrit Ceco for the related crime
and for also damaging some memorials along the Korce-Bilisdht-Miras
road.
Ceco is known for the police as a radicalized person who tried to kill his own father while he was getting cured in hospital, because of family conflicts that started after his conversion from Christian to Muslim.
Prosecutors say that Ceco was radicalized during his time in Canada, for studies, where he changed religion. From Canada he moved to Denmark, since he didn’t follow the studies properly, and was later deported to Albania on December 8th, 2014.
Prosecutors say he is banned from Denmark for six years for being involved in a robbery.
