Korça “Old Market” salesmen protest relocation

Korca salesmen protested against the closure of the “old bazaar”, due to the reconstruction and opening of a new type of shops.

More than 100 salesmen threatened to even go on hunger strikes. They say the decision is unfair and makes their economic situation even harder.

Business owners, supported by representatives of the Democratic Party, protested against the decision to close their shops and move them to another location.
