The region of Korça in the southeast of Albania was covered by snow this morning. Snowplows were working to open up the Korça-Dardhë road.
It is expected that during the night in these areas there will be continuous snowfall, at an expected level of 50 cm. Although contractors are on the road for cleaning and salting, snowfall continues, in some areas accompanied by winds.
Traffic is recommended with chained wheels on Qafa e Qarrit road, Dardha road, Voskopoje road for small vehicles. Meteoalb service predicts that there will be snowfall throughout Albania, including the capital Tirana.
According to Meteoalb, clear and cold weather will continue today in most parts of Albania, while the eclipses increase during the evening hours and onwards.
