The city of Korce, as every year, has passed the last night of February through celebrations for the Summer Day.
People of all ages gathered for the tradition of jumping over fires, which insinuates removing bad things and wishing for good crops during the warm months.
Gathered in different squares, they lit fires and played music, passing wishes for a happy summer.
Different from March 14th, which is the official day for the Summer Day, this tradition is celebrated in two dates in the southeastern parts of Albania.
