Konstandin Xhuvani left in prison. Defensive lawyer appointed by Court

His parents, friends or relatives did not accompany him, not even his lawyer, Ardian Leka, who defended him with the first murder.

In these conditions, the Court found him a lawyer who accepted to represent him.

The Court gave him arrest in prison for the murder of Elton Jaho, Enea Xhaja, Arber Demiraj, Gianpaulo Azzola and for illegal arm possession.

“Many lawyers protected him. But it is the right of every lawyer to defend a person”, declared Xhuvani’s lawyer, Violent Coniku.

The Court left Xhuvani’s friend in prison, Erald Sida, for helping the author of the crime and for favoring prostitution.

“Erald Sida was in the wrong place and at the wrong moment. Sida helped sending the victim Arber Demiraj to hospital. He didn’t see what happened or even the author of the crime”, declared lawyer Vladimir Germenji.

Konstandin Xhuvani’s position will be even worse, since the Prosecution will compare his weapon with a bullet that was found in 2014 in Gjirokaster, when Xhuvani was accused of threatening three citizens.

But the investigations were suspended after a report of the Elbasan hospital, which confirmed that on that day Xhuvani was being treated for alcohol intoxication, and couldn’t have been in two places on the same time.
