Invited by the US Secretary of Defense, Chuck Hagel, the Albanian
Minister of Defense, Mimi kodheli, is attending an official visit in
Washington.
Kodheli underlined once again the excellent partnership between the Albanian and US Armed Forces.
“Today we will discuss the modernization of the Armed Forces, where the US assistance to the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces has been very significant. We will also speak about joint missions. We will be there where the NATO and US forces will be”, Kodheli declared.
Minister Kodheli underlined the risk that comes from Southern Europe and the East. She said that it can be managed very well by increasing the cooperation capacities between armed forces.
