Klosi: CEC is manipulating

Socialist Party published new proofs that, according to them, shed light
on the manipulations that are being made by the Central Election
Commission to the Tirana mayoral race.
Although the Electoral College ordered CEC to fix the inconsistencies, according to the opposition, this is not happening. The difference between total ballots and total voters remains high.
“The difference in 20 of 39 voting centers at Municipal Unit 1 is minus 72 ballots. In six voting centers, the difference is plus 30 ballots. Only 13 voting centers have consistencies between the total ballots and total voters. The Electoral College asked CEC to balance this inconsistency. At Municipal Unit 2, 24 of 54 voting centers have negative difference, 10 have positive difference and 30 are balanced”, Klosi declared.
According to the SP Organization Secretary, the other Municipal Units that are being counted by CEC are showing the same problems.
For demonstrating what SP calls a manipulation, Klosi has taken other examples in voting centers.
“Municipal Unit 2, voting center 1741/1 has 17 more ballots than voters. Even voting center 1713 has 5 more ballots than voters in four boxes. These are the boxes that Ristani opened and that CEC is trying to balance. There were 8 ballots for Mayor, and after the boxes were opened, there were 7 ballots more than voters. How did this happen? Who put these ballots in?” Klosi underlined.
The Democratic Party gave an immediate response, which declared that Rama is calling desperate shots, affected by the loss, and keeps announcing unfounded accusations.
Spokesperson Jorida Tabaku declared that Rama’s loss is clear. She underlined that the real robbery would be to not count the ballots.
“We heard the old, recycled and absurd accusation. When will Mr. Rama understand that democracy does not belong to parties, but to the citizens? Everyone can understand that Mr. Rama’s desperation has reached a new level. He is panicking. He can send his people to make accusations, but there’s nothing for proving his absurd accusations. He does not see what everyone else is watching on TV. He must answer to the citizens why he doesn’t want all the ballots to be counted”, Tabaku declared.
