The Democratic Party has criticized the Interior Minister, Saimir
Tahiri, about him thanking the police special forces who shot and killed
a man who had wounded a police officer during an operation.
Tahiri said on Facebook: “Justice was done through the force of law. Good job, boys”.
“It is incredible that the Interior Minister greets a murder and considers the state police as an organization that retaliates by forgetting the laws and rules of the state”, declared the Democratic Party Spokesperson, Silvi Bardhi.
Bardhi underlined that since Edi Rama checks every declaration of their ministers before they are made public, this story shows his delirious act with power.
“This makes the situation even more serious, and the solution even more hopeless when a Minister goes insane publicly and when he cannot ask the Prime Minister to take measures, since he is the one to allow these teenage infatuations”, Bardhi declared.
She underlined that the state police activity is based on the law and is not a game.
The Spokesperson added that the Democratic Party supports the police actions even when they cause extreme consequences, if this is a necessary measure for the safety of the police and of the citizens.
