The killer of the two Czech tourists, Sokol Majcaj, appeared in court
with a bullet vest and accompanied by dozens of agents. He was arrested
this Sunday trying to flee the police who had him surrounded.

Police hunted Majcaj for more than 16 hours after verifying that he had been trying to take their car, and killed them after he failed with the robbery.

More than 350 agents hunted Majcaj down, with the help of the locals. He was found hiding in a two-storey building.

Majcaj had left his fingerprints in the car and had been sentenced before for the death of a 12-year-old when he was just 15. Majcaj and two other peers killed him while trying to take the boy’s golden necklace.

Because of the young age, Majcaj left prison after five years. One of the other boys took life sentence. One year after leaving prison, Majcaj executed the two Czech tourists in a failed attempted robbery.
