The killer of four people in Gjonomadh, Korce, appeared in front of the court today for his security measure.
The 40-year-old appeared cold blooded and even used irony and humor in his words. But after the court decided to continue the session behind closed doors, he pleaded for mercy.
After the Prosecution presented the chronology of the events, the author declared that he didn’t want to kill them, but he had lost his mind.
“I regret my actions. I loved Daniela, but she left me and I ended up doing what I did”, declared Bashkim Latollari. He pleaded for mercy and declared that he regrets what he has done.
After the Prosecution’s request, the court decided to leave Latollari in prison until trial.
The relatives of the victims were outside the court, because they were not allowed inside for security reasons.
Latollari has been abandoned by his relatives, because no one tried to follow this session, and his defense has been difficult.
At least 40 lawyers have boycotted this case, and it has been taken only in the last minutes by the Head of the Chamber of Advocacy, Arben Lena.
