Killer of FNSH officer arrested after hours of resistance

After several hours of resistance, police has finally arrested David
Qosja, the man who killed a police officer today in Shkoder.

The Police Forces, assisted by the RENEA and FNSH special forces, intervened with tear gas and apprehended the killer, who was resisting from inside his residence.

The Chief of State Police, Altin Qato, was present at the site to oversee the situation.

David Qosja, known by neighbors as a mentally ill person, had started firing a weapon today. The alarmed neighbors immediately called the police.

The FNSH, a Special Police Intervention Unit arrived on the scene, but they came under fire. As result, officer Ardian Kodra, 50, was wounded on the scene and passed away in hospital.
