One person was killed by a sniper this Wednesday morning in the Vukatan
village, Shkoder. Investigators suspect the motive is based on an old
blood feud.
The 55-year-old victim, Kol Drini, was working in his land together with his wife. A vehicle went close to the parcel and shot twice against the victim.
Police say the authors shot with a sniper and silencer. The 55-year-old man died on the spot.
Police is investigating for the motive of this crime and identifying the authors. Eight people were taken under police custody, suspected of being connected or having information about the case.
Polcie suspects that the motive is a blood feud, since the brother of the victim, who has emigrated to the United States of America, has killed another man 17 years ago for banal reasons.
