KFOR leaves Prizren after 19 years

After 19 years of service to the citizens of Prizren, KFOR soldiers are leaving the area today. Germany and its army, Bundeswehr, will still remain in Kosovo.

After almost 20 years in Prizren, the Bundeswehr will move to Camp Film City in Prishtina, where they will continue the KFOR activity.

In the former KFOR area, Germany and Kosovo will build the Innovative and Training Camp, a collaboration of both governments.

The German Parliamentary State Secretary to the Federal Minister for Economic Cooperation and Development, Maria Flachsbarth, and the German Parliamentary State Secretary, Thomas Silberhorn, will be present for the ceremony.
