The trial for Arben Frroku, accused for the murder of Police Chief Dritan Lamaj, is still being delayed.

The trial was postponed even today, after the absence of the key witness. He was to testify today through a video conference, which was rejected after the session was postponed.

The defending lawyer of Arben Frroku, Genc Gjokutaj, didn’t give many details about what happened, but he confirmed that no witness had been present against Frroku.

According to him, the Prosecution is facing difficulties because there is no key witness for this event.

This is the trial that was postponed in absence of witness Arben Ndoka, who says that on the day of Lamaj’s murder he saw Arben Frroku at the crime scene.

Lawyer Genc Gjokutaj demanded to change the security measure for his client, but the request was not accepted by the Court. According to Gjokutaj, his client is staying in prison unjustly.

Frroku is accused for the murder of Lamaj on February 24th in the Vasil Shanto area, a few meters from his house. The Prosecution says that the motive of a crime was a conflict between the defendant and the former chief of police.
