The Albanian Energetic Corporation (KESH) rejected as untrue the
declaration made by CEZ Distribution, regarding
the debt that this company owes to KESH.
KESH declared through a press release that the pretenses of the CEZ Company, that the debt towards KESH are inherited from the period when the Energy Distribution sector depended from the state, (former OSSH).
KESH declared that the 55 million EUR debt, that together with the due fines reaches 58 million EUR, has been created from November 2010 and after.
In these 13 months, CEZ has not paid to KESH the energy that CEZ distributes to consumers.
KESH is currently facing a difficult financial situation; importing energy with the 45 million EUR of overdrafts for guaranteeing the sources from which the energy will be bought, for supplying consumers without interruption.
