The US Secretary of State, John Kerry, congratulated the Albanian people for the Independence Day of November 28th.
“By request of the US President, Barack Obama, and the American people, I have the pleasure to wish the people of Albania a happy 104th anniversary of independence this November 28th”, Kerry says in his message.
The US Chief of Diplomacy said that the US and Albania have a long history of friendship and cooperation.
“Your country is a growing force that supports the regional and global security, and the USA deeply value your contribution to the Global Coalition Against ISIS, the Operation for Establishing and Supporting KFOR”, Kerry said in his message.
The State Secretary also values the strong commitment of Albania against violent extremism and for promoting peace in Western Balkans.
“The USA keep cooperating in the years to come especially for supporting your progress towards EU accession”, Kerry said.
