A member of the socialist electoral staff for the candidate of Kavaje Municipality has been attacked for the second time. The victim is the 41 year old Naim Haxhiu, an activist supporter of the SP candidate Elvis Rroshi.
He confessed two days ago, together with the Socialist Deputy, Dashamir Peza, that he had been attacked because of the election campaign and his support to the left centered candidate. After denouncing this event to the media, the 41 year old has also been attacked at his own residence by persons that he identified and sued at court.
By 03:00 am, a group of unidentified people have thrown stones and damaged the residence of Naim Haxhiu, who has also been beaten. They have thrown stones constantly for 20 minutes towards the house, inside of which were Naim Haxhiu’s mother, wife and children. The family left the house in the middle of the night and returned to it this morning, after suing the attackers at the Prosecutor Office.
