The Mayor of Kavaja who just resigned yesterday after a criminal record
appeared against him from Italy, has traveled to the neighboring country
to start the legal procedures to clean the record.

By reminding to the former Minister of Interior, Lulzim Basha, about the January 21st murders, Rroshi said that he will clean his record in Italy and that he will return to Kavaja. “The Democratic Party will never take Kavaja”, Rroshi said.

He reacted against the accusations launched by the opposition, saying that he resigned after something that he found out on his own, not because it was found by the opposition.

Rroshi has been sentenced in 1992, when he was just 16, by the Italian authorities after a massive brawl in a refugee camp, according to him, when he didn’t know a single word in Italian.
