Justice Minister: “Maximal commitment to respond to citizens’ complaints about public officials”

The Minister of Justice, Etilda Gjonaj, declared that the institution she represents remains fully committed to resolve complaints of citizens about public officials, as part of the government promise for “A coalition with the people”.

“During the past three months only, citizens have sent 277 complaints to the Justice Ministry, through the ‘Albania We Want’ platform. These complaints have been treated seriously by the technical structures of the Ministry, under my own personal inspection. Based on the complaints, I have ordered the establishment of special inspection groups that have made verifications at the Property Registration Offices of Fier, Shkoder, Elbasan, Pogradec and Korca”, Minister Gjonaj declared.

She added that the groups have identified unjustified delays and severe violations in some of them.

“Determined to punish corruptive actions, today I have dismissed eight employees from the Property Registration Offices of Elbasan, Lushnja, Fier, Durres, Tirana, Pogradec, Korce and Shkoder”, Gjonaj declared.

The Minister appealed citizens to send their complaints to the platform shqiperiaqeduam.al, (The Albania We Want”.
