The Albanian justice has capitulated with the trial against Dritan
Dajti, the defendant that no lawyer wanted to represent. After the
complete list of lawyers was exhausted in a very long process, the
courtroom has almost turn into a comedy theater.
The defendant appeared alone and left by saying that the trial cannot continue without a lawyer.
Top Channel published one week ago the document through which the Court of Serious Crimes appealed the National Chamber of Advocacy, the High Council of Justice and the Ministry of Justice to find a lawyer for this case, but no one has answered.
Regardless of its alarming tones, the declaration of the President of Serious Crimes did not create any concern at the Albanian justice cupola.
But what has happened during these years in this process that continued with 242 sessions?
It is still unknown for how long this comedy will go on, which is not only a big failure for the Albanian justice, but it might take a shameful proportion.
