The Democratic Party will be part of the Judiciary Reform Commission, as
announced by the Democratic Party MP, Eduard Halimi, who said that they
decided to be part of the reform after the majority accepted the
requests of the opposition.
“They accepted our requests for the equality in the commission, so that the reforms can be long-termed and not depending on the majority only. The opposition will be part of the meetings with five members out of ten”, Halimi declared.
As for the HCJ law and the Supreme Court, the Democratic Party MP declared that the opposition will watch closely every step taken by the government by being present in this reform. Halimi underline dhte importance of this reform which should be done in accordance with the decriminalization process in Parliament.
