The Chairman of the Commission of Laws, Fatmir Xhafa, declared this
Monday that they have reached an agreement with the opposition regarding
the judiciary reform.
“Today we will establish a commission made of 10 members, five from the majority and five from the opposition. I hope that the role of the opposition in this process will be constructive. I hope this will be an amend of the Parliament’s decision not as a formal act, but that will serve to the country’, Xhafa declared.
“He added that the judiciary reform is a process related to the fates of democracy”.
The Democratic Party MP, Eduart Halimi, declared that the reform is very important. “I want to thank the international partners and the chairman of the commission who were flexible in reaching this agreement”.
