President Nishani addressed to the judiciary professionals with a strong
appeal, and only to those he considers as the healthy part that
isolates the corrupted.
“This is the day for the healthy part of the judiciary to act and become an orienting model in the daily justice activity, by isolating each day more the corruption levels and the lack of professionalism. This is the time for “all inclusiveness” to be the key word for the daily activity”, Nishani declared.
For the President, the problem with the judiciary corruption is only one of its concerns.
“The problems remain the fight against corruption, the judiciary efficiency, including the problems of the overload with cases of some courts, and the delayed trials. The strengthening of independence and the creation of an effective system would make justice accessible to everyone”.
During the presentation of the 2-year-long project with the European Union and the European Council for justice efficiency, the President added that the justice reform is enabled only if there is cooperation between institutions.
“The main duty for improving the justice system damages the professionals, the judges, the prosecutors and their defensive lawyers”, the Albanian President declared.
