The Supreme Court appointed Judge Mirela Fana through random selection
as the leader of the process against the former Minister of Energy,
Trade and Economy, Dritan Prifti, and his Spokesperson, Leonard Beqiraj.
Other members of the judge panel will be Fatos Lulo, Arjana Fullani, Aleksander Muskaj and Gani Dizdari. The former high rank officials are accused of passive corruption.
The prosecution bases its case on a video file that shows Prifti and Beqiraj sharing 70.000 Euro with each other.
The video was made public by Spartak Braho, who declared that it was recorded by Prifti himself, 10 days after the registration of the Meta-Prifti video, which the court considered as not original while the former Deputy Prime Minister was declared innocent by the Supreme Court.
