Former Democratic Party leader Jozefina Topalli told Top Channel today that she refuses to fill out the self-declaration form while raising harsh accusations against the current DP leader.
“The party is not democratized either with these forms or with commissions. Lulzim Basha has divided and destroyed PD. He does not believe in any of the principles out of which the party was born 3 decades ago. In these conditions, if he really wanted the removal of Edi Rama, Basha must leave the post of party chairman. With a new leadership everyone would really unite, without forms and without commissions, and Rama would no longer have a chance to run the country.”
Lulzim Basha’s strongest critic was among the most popular names by the democratic party base in Shkodra, while the refusal to complete the form automatically leads to her exclusion from the second phase of the process of selecting DP candidates.
