“Jon Complex” investigation concluded

Six months after the demolition of the “Jon” complex, the Prosecution
has filed charges against six officials over power abuse. They are
accused of not taking actions and allowing the construction of this
building. The Prosecution has accused:

Kujtim Sulce, Registrar of the Vlore Immovable Property Regulation; Darjan Hudhra, former Director of the Vlore Territory Planning; Merita Tartari, employee of the Vlore Territory Planning; Blerina Dhrami, former employee of the Vlore Immovable Property Registration; Mirela Muca, former employee of the Immovable Property Registration; Lindita Jaupaj, former employee of the Immovable Property Registration.

The Prosecution says that they have found evidence against two former high-rank officials of the Vlore Urban Construction Inspectorate. The case in question was a responsibility of the Vlore branch of the National Urban Construction Inspectorate.

The power abuse charges were raised against Ruzhdi Zeneli and Mario Kalus, former responsible for the Vlore branch of the National Urban Construction Inspectorate. The Prosecution has found discrepancies also with the registration of the property size at the Immovable Property Registration Office of Vlore.
