Linda Rama: Between Family, Work and Albania’s Future
Accompanied by his wife, Linda, the opposition leader, Edi Rama, visited
the family of Hekuran Deda, one of the four people who died in the
January 21st protests.
The visit was private, for the holidays, and the Rama couple chose this day to commemorate the late Deda and meet his relatives and children.
During his conversation with the Deda family, Rama reiterated that the January 21st victims have not been forgotten, and they never will, because they died for a better Albania.
The opposition leader posted a message on Twitter, saying: “With Linda, visited Hekuran Deda’s family, where there is no peace without justice, and where the children read their writings for the murders that make them suffer.
Hekuran Deda was killed on the January 21st opposition protests in front of the Prime Minister’s Office. He had returned to Albania from emigration, due to the lack of jobs, and was still unemployed in his country. Deda left his wife and two children.
