The President of Kosovo, Atifete Jahjaga, has arrived in Brussels where she is expecting to hold several official meetings.

Jahjaga’s tour started at the EU Council with President Herman Van Rompuy, and continued in Brussels with the NATO General Secretary, Anders Fogh Rassmussen.

But the main reason why she is visiting Brussels is the meeting with the Serbian President, Tomislav Nikolic, announced by mediator Catherine Ashton.

The first presidential level meeting is organized in support of the dialogue between Prime Ministers Thaci and Dacic, for the normalization of relations between Kosovo and Serbia, according to Prishtina, and between Prishtina and Belgrade, according to Serbia and the EU, which counts five member countries that do not recognize Kosovo’s independence.
