The candidate for the Constitutional Court, Zhaklina Peto, returned to the race with a court decision, has reported to the SPAK special prosecutor’s office the deputy chairwoman of the Judicial Appointments Council (JAC) Vitore Tusha and the rapporteur Miranda Andoni, for abuse of office, as their administrative decision seriously violated the procedure during the suspension of her candidacy, although the findings were positive.
“The fact that all the findings remain positive, these may not coincide with the desire and personal agenda of the rapporteur Andoni who obviously intended to stop me from the race,” accuses the professor Zhaklina Peto, who reminds SPAK that the rapporteur did not make available the preliminary findings, and the results were not published on the web of the High Court as is required by law.
Peto says in her report that this action requires preparation based on criminal thought in order to achieve a criminal consequence, such as elimination from the race.
Professor Peto insists that the vice-president should have removed the member in question from this Monday’s meeting, where voting is done for the two candidates returned to the race, among them the denouncer.
