The Italian Foreign Minister, Paolo Gentiloni, met with the Albanian
Counterpart, Ditmir Bushati, and declared that Italy will support
Albania in opening the EU accession negotiations.
“Italy’s interest is to encourage this process. We will try to promote it, to make all EU countries aware about this process. We need a concrete answer. Italy will work to open the path for the other accession processes”, the Italian Chief Diplomat declared.
Gentiloni was asked by journalists regarding the decriminalization process. He said that Italy is ready to offer its experience for this delicate issue. He mentioned as example the visit of the Italian Minister of Justice in our country.
